Welcome to my photography blog. I have been an outdoor and nature photographer for the past 25 years. I have been published as both a writer and photographer. I market my images directly to photo researchers, magazine and book editors.
At various points in my career, I have been employed as a national park ranger/photographer at Morristown National Historical Park (NJ), Yosemite National Park (CA), Shenandoah National Park (VA), and at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (NJ/PA).
About a dozen years ago, I started teaching photography classes at local schools and colleges. Teaching others to see artistically and to master their cameras is very rewarding and something I continue to do to this date. In addition to formal classes, I also conduct nature photography workshops and offer private customized instruction.
