    It seems like only yesterday we were all in the middle of the megapixel wars. One camera manufacturer releases the 6mp sensor so another releases the 6.5 only to be outdone months later to a 7mp sensor. Today’s battle is more than just image quality and the price tag, it is the features and accessories that can go with your digital SLR.

    Nikon is looking at some of the features prominent on the point and shoot digital cameras with features like HD video and rotating LCD screens. The D5000 is the perfect camera for those who are looking for something a little bit more than the top of the line Coolpix cameras like the P90 but not quite the level of the D300 or D90.
